Dr. Maureen Bell
Dr. Bell is one of MOOV Ft. Lauderdale’s dedicated physicians and focuses on helping people discover the right approach to wellness based on where they are today. She was born in Jamaica and moved to the U.S. after high school. She earned her undergraduate degree from Prairie View A&M University, graduating Magna cum laude, and received her medical degree from New York University. She completed her emergency medicine training at the Jacobi/Montefiore program. Dr. Bell has held leadership roles, including Medical Director of the Emergency Department at Howard University Hospital and Chair of Emergency Medicine at Howard University College of Medicine. With over 20 years of clinical experience, she is board-certified in both Emergency Medicine and Anti-Aging and Regenerative Medicine.
Dr. John Childress
John Childress, MD, Co-Medical Director at MOOV Ft. Lauderdale, is double board-certified in Emergency Medicine and Sports Medicine, with over 20 years of experience. He specializes in performance medicine, regenerative orthopedic treatments, and longevity. His expertise includes OrthoBiologic treatments such as PRP and bone marrow aspirations, as well as hormone replacement therapy, IV therapies, and nutritional medicine.
Dr. Childress is highly skilled in non-surgical orthopedic procedures, using regenerative medicine to treat musculoskeletal injuries and conditions. With cutting-edge musculoskeletal ultrasound for precise diagnostics and guided treatments, he offers minimally invasive procedures that promote healing and restore function without surgery.
